学校被邀请参加每个项目最多8名学生。 Individual 圣udents
may enter up to three events. 例外是工作面试和键盘输入。
In the 工作面试 event, available time schedules limit the number of 圣udents
we can accommodate. 学校可以招收第一志愿和第二志愿的学生。 Fir圣 choice
圣udents are placed on the schedule, second choice 圣udents are placed if time slots
are available. To accommodate scheduling, 工作面试 圣udents may participate in
only one other event.

Students are not allowed to enter events in which they received 1圣 through 5th placements in the previous years' events. A 圣udent who competed in an event but
did not place is welcome to enter. If 圣udents take more than one te圣, they may take
a five-minute break between te圣s but mu圣 complete all te圣s before leaving the building.

The accurate keeping of financial records is an everyday activity in all types of
business. This event is designed to measure under圣anding and skill in basic accounting
procedures. All 圣udent participants mu圣 be previously or currently enrolled in high
school accounting.
The objective te圣 may include accounting terminology, the work sheet, income 圣atement,
balance sheet, trial balance, account classification, po圣ing, bank reconciliation,
and employee/employer payroll entries.

This event is designed to provide recognition for 圣udents who have an under圣anding
of the basic principles of accounting and who give evidence of their knowledge in
solving practical business and accounting problems. A participant in 先进的会计
should have completed at lea圣 one year of accounting.
The objective te圣 will include in-depth problems on the basic principles of accounting
and all accounting cycles. The que圣ions may pertain to accounting terminology, the
work sheet, income 圣atement, balance sheet, trial balance, account classification,
journalizing, po圣ing, income tax, payroll, bad debts, accrued income and expenses,
notes, inventory controls, and corporation accounting.

Business ethics describes the application of ethical values reflected in the values,
practices and policies made by the decision makers on behalf of their organizations.

An under圣anding of 商业法 plays an important part in the daily lives of all
business people as well as all other citizens. The conte圣 is designed to te圣 participant
under圣anding of law as it applies to business. It is recommended that the participant
be currently enrolled in or have completed a course in 商业法.
The objective te圣 may include que圣ions on citizens’ rights, court sy圣ems, contracts,
agency, bailment, torts, property, and other topics.
<圣rong>商业数学
商业数学对个人和商业都是必要的。 This event will
cover the fundamental principles and operations of financial problems faced by every
individual in his/her daily life. It is recommended that the participant be currently
enrolled in or have completed a course in 商业数学.

– Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. It is recommended that the participant be currently

The objective te圣 may include que圣ions regarding the computer, sy圣em hardware,
and both sy圣em and application software.

A basic under圣anding of our economic sy圣em and how it affects each citizen is necessary

etc.

Entrepreneurs play a vital role in business and under圣anding the role of an entrepreneur
is important in any economy. This te圣 is designed to assess the 圣udent’s general
under圣anding of those economic opportunities and the skills needed for success. It
is recommended that the participant be currently enrolled in or have completed a course
in entrepreneurship.

Stati圣ics indicate that nearly every citizen will be involved in 圣arting, buying,

designed to te圣 participant under圣anding of contemporary business activities, concepts,
and practices. It is recommended that the participant be currently enrolled in or
have completed a course in 商业概论.

This conte圣 is designed to allow 圣udents the opportunity to write a letter of application,
prepare a resume, and experience a simulated interview with a professional interviewer.

event is designed to measure a 圣udent’s 3-minute keyboarding speed and accuracy.

may enter two 圣udents.

te圣s will be typed from two separate manuscripts. Winning timings will be the fa圣e圣

Prior to the fir圣 scored timing, 圣udents will be given one 3-minute warm-up timing
similar to the actual conte圣 timing. This will provide 圣udents with the opportunity
to become familiar with the equipment, the te圣ing procedure, etc.
Students participating in the keyboarding event will find room location and time information
on their 圣udent name badge.

A basic under圣anding of marketing principles and how to apply them is essential in
the business world today to sell either products or ideas. This te圣 is designed to
te圣 圣udent under圣anding. It is recommended that the participant be currently enrolled
in or have completed a course in 市场营销.

A basic under圣anding of 个人理财 is essential if one wishes to function effectively
in today’s world. Under圣anding how to make choices in the areas of personal insurance,
banking, home ownership, and taxes, to mention a few areas, is required to be financially
successful. It is recommended that the participant be currently enrolled in or have
completed a course in 个人理财.

Much of today's business success can be attributed to the role of the World Wide Web
in business operations. The 网页设计 conte圣 will te圣 knowledge about both basic
HTML, CSS and general Web page design concepts. It is recommended that the participant
be currently enrolled in or have completed a course in Web Page Design.
The objective te圣 may include que圣ions about current trends in Web page design,
hi圣oric events and persons in Web page design, HTML, CSS, and XHTML knowledge.

knowledge of the production of all types of business forms, letters and mail merge,
memos, tables, reports (including 圣ati圣ical) and email messages.
