She was an Inclusion Teacher for grades 6-8 for Port Huron Area Schools and taught
at the collegiate level for Saginaw Valley State University and St. Claire Community
College. Folske-Starlin is active in local and regional advocacy groups and has received
awards for her work in advocacy. She received her 博士学位 in 特殊教育 Learning
and Behavior Disorders from 韦恩州立大学 (Michigan).
