什么是TRiO/SSS？
学生成功服务（SSS）是一个由联邦政府资助的三重奏项目。 SSS is dedicated
to helping students develop the skills and motivation necessary to successfully pursue
and earn a bachelor’s degree. 夏天桥 is one of the many services SSS provides
to help students attain a bachelor’s degree. Most SSS services are provided at no
cost to members, and students participate in SSS throughout their enrollment at Peru
State College.
谁有资格参加夏季桥？
夏季桥仅限于SSS会员。 Federal eligibility regulations require members
be U.S. citizens or qualify for federal financial aid and meet at least one of the
following characteristics:

Yes but your FAFSA uses “prior-prior” year data, or 2021 income for the 2023-2024
school year. If you do not meet the income eligibility threshold with FAFSA data
we can recheck using the 2021年应税家庭收入 levels identified above.
参加夏季桥的费用是多少？
- 夏天桥 participants only pay for the fees on the 1-credit course, approximately $75. 所有其他费用由TRiO助学金和秘鲁州立学院支付。 The fees are due as part of your fall bill.

- 夏季大桥——2023年8月11日至17日
学生住在校园里的什么地方？
夏季桥的参与者搬进了他们指定的秋季宿舍。 Laundry facilities
are available in the residence hall. New freshmen approved to live off-campus can
contact the SSS Director to see if 夏天桥 can work for them.

class travels for cultural and academic enrichment events, special meals at various
places will be provided. Costs of all cultural and academic event meals are provided
by Student Success Services.
每日计划是什么？
Students will have an interactive, interdisciplinary course encompassing college/life
success skills. Students will also attend study sessions, workshops, and other cultural
and academic activities. 你的一天从早上8点到晚上9点都是满的。 Participation
in all activities is mandatory.
我可以工作或有其他外部安排吗？
During 夏天桥 it will be very difficult for students to work or have other
outside commitments. If you participate in 夏天桥, you must commit fully to
the 夏天桥 program.
如果我是秋季项目的运动员，我可以参加夏季桥吗？
可能不会。 If team activities begin before the start of the regular semester, they will likely be at the same time as 夏天桥 classes. If your team doesn't have practices yet or you red-shirt this fall, talk with your coach about the possibility.
我能时不时离开夏桥吗？
学生可能会因家庭紧急情况而离开。 Exceptions will be made at the discretion
of the SSS Director. Students will receive a calendar of events before the program
begins and again upon arrival to campus. Please do not schedule work, medical appointments,
family birthday parties, etc. during this time.
我可以在夏季桥上获得学分吗？
是的! Students will complete COLL 100 Elements of Personal Success (1 cr) during Summer
Bridge and earn credit upon successful completion of the course.
我能把车开过来吗？ 校园里有停车位吗？
是的，在夏季大桥项目期间，在指定区域停车是免费的。 However,

damage to, or loss from personal vehicles.
