BUS 480 049Y International Business
I received my 英航 in socioeconomics and economics from Michigan State University and
I have my M英航 in marketing from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I am a small
business owner and I have run the family’s athletic jersey manufacturing company for
the last 16 years. We cut and sew athletic uniforms, primarily hockey jerseys and
socks, right here in my town. In addition to my business, I have always loved teaching
(my mom was a teacher and my dad was the family business owner – so I was torn) –
so I have been teaching face to face and online courses for the past 14 years. It
balances my work life and fits my lifestyle perfectly!
我和我丈夫已经结婚快15年了。 Together we have a 13-year-old
daughter and a 19-year old daughter from his first marriage. The other “family” members
are a 17 pound cat - “Nigel the girl cat” and 16 pound miniature schnauzer – “Schatzi
von Schnauzer”.
在我的业余时间，我最喜欢做的事情是花时间与我的家人。 My whole family
is in the area – my mom (my dad passed away a couple of years ago), my brother and
his family and my sister and her family. 我们都喜欢经常聚在一起。 We do
many dinners, parties and spend a lot of time at the family cottage on Lake Michigan.
My family loves to golf, travel, read, take lots of pictures (we are the family that
always has a camera with them!), watch football (Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers
and Iowa Hawkeyes primarily), and travel. We love to go to places like Walt Disney
World, Hilton Head Island, San Francisco and Phoenix.
