詹妮弗·拉莫斯 has been an educator for over ten years for several universities and
within government sectors. She is currently the Chief Science 办公室r for Agricultural
and Environmental Applied Sciences focusing on microbes for regenerative agriculture.
She received her B.S. in Environmental Science from Rollins College and her M.S. in
Oceanography and Coastal Zone
Management at Nova Southeastern University.
Jennifer was previously an educator, code enforcement officer and environmental specialist
for the City of Orlando and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. She
also worked as an educator and a specialized agent for Orange County Extension and
the University of Florida in the fields of biology, horticulture, agriculture, entomology,
natural resources and environmental protection. She holds the following certifications:
Conservation Site Assessment and Planning and Managing for Diversity Across Florida’s
Unique Landscapes from the University of Florida Natural Areas Training Academy and
the Nature Conservancy; 佛罗里达州绿色工业最佳管理实践培训师；
ISA Certified Arborist, FDEP Certified Florida Stormwater Erosion and Sediment Control
Inspector. She has engaged in numerous public speaking events and has created several
professional publications.
Jennifer’s teaching philosophy is to make each lesson relatable to the students and
foster learning through debate, discussion, research and technology. She incorporates
assignments on current events, research on new technologies, discoveries and actual
scientific applications such as the NOAA Debris Tracker app, the Global Fishing Watch
app and the Ocean Tracker Stem Works app. Her belief is that an education should be
comprised of experiences of information and not just memorization.
