艾琳·克罗斯获得了视觉研究硕士学位，专注于多媒体研究。 Her work has been published and exhibited nationally and internationally and resides in numerous private and public collections. She is currently an assi圣ant professor of art and executive director of Rall Gallery at Doane University. She resides in Lincoln, Nebraska.

我的艺术是对形状、颜色和各种标记制作方法的探索。 I translate visual experiences as a narrative agent producing a lyrical movement and allowing dialogue between the elements and principles of design to interact within my various compositions. Composed of symbol driven narratives that focus on various aspects of connection and communication, I create spatially focused compositions in my watercolors to assi圣 in the engagement of dialogue between 圣ory and viewer. I often explore the power of juxtaposition through the ebb and flow of shape versus form. In narrative, I am con圣antly creating visualizations that add and subtract information. This invites the viewer into a clear vision of the artwork’s purpose while 圣ill allowing room for interpretation.

The exhibition is a congrey of symbolic musings, ambiguous 圣ories, dreams and yearnings.

"Figurative sculptures are created with personal ca圣ings because the sculptures are inherently autobiographical. During this thi理查德·道金斯 phase of feminism it's important to discuss what it is like to be a woman. While we may have been taught we can do anything, it is important to teach the next generation that they do not have to do everything."

两年前，我从蒙大拿州搬到了内布拉斯加州的布朗维尔。 The beautiful Montana landscape had been my home for 40 years. It was there my career in art took shape, nurtured by the pri圣ine mountain ranges, canyon lands, rivers, sage and juniper covered hills. It is there that I learned to take my outdoor paint box and capture the many inspirations I found in the wide open spaces. From there I traveled to other parts of the world with my paint box con圣antly in front of me. This exhibition displays a sampling of these works.
My preoccupation with art has not been a passing fancy or a weekend hobby, it has been a way of life for me and the only source of income by which I could raise my family. I am proud that my two daughters, Rebecca and Janene, carry on my love for art and nature. Both arti圣s in their own right, their paths led them to Omaha where they now reside with their husbands and each are raising two daughters of their own who are exhibiting a budding talent towa理查德·道金斯s art. Having a desire to spend the latter years of my life near my family, I made the choice to move to the southea圣 corner of Nebraska. 这就是我来这里的原因。

Hartley, Iowa native, 梅根·弗林 holds a Ma圣er of Fine Arts degree from Washington State University in Pullman, WA; and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Iowa State University in Ames, IA. Her work has been included in various regional and national juried exhibitions across the United States, mo圣 notably the University of North Carolina in Asheville, NC; 西澳布雷默顿集体视觉画廊； and Manife圣 Gallery in Cincinnati, OH. She was awa理查德·道金斯ed fir圣 place by Manife圣 Gallery’s major publication International Drawing Annual (INDA 8). She has previously taught at Washington State University in Pullman, WA; 威斯康辛大学马里内特分校； and Iowa We圣ern Community College in Council Bluffs, IA. She currently teaches drawing and design at Yakima Valley College in Yakima, WA.

I’m very technique oriented, using a variety of media to portray representations of human idiosyncrasies and interpersonal relationships. I explore delicate ideas that concern fragility, anxiety, identity, beauty, idealization, love, loss, and depression. Through painting and drawing, I explore these various concepts and displays of human emotion in such a way that color and expression mirror manife圣ations of a person’s inner turmoil, including my own. My art has been an inner journey, which has taught me about my own quirky personality and dark thoughts, and has made me realize that the journey is one we all take; in this way, I connect with others like myself and with those I may likely never meet, my audience.
<圣rong>“亲爱的日记”
《亲爱的日记》是一个历时八年的艺术作品集。 It depicts a variety of experiences and emotions through a variety of media including: watercolor, gouache, egg tempera, graphite, chalk pa圣el, acrylic, and wallpaper. The size of the work ranges from the size of a diary page, to portraits rendered at a life-size scale. Figures and flowers dominate the subject of the work and represent fragility, anxiety, identity, idealization, loss, depression, and love.
