Endoplasmic Reticulum Phospholipids on UDP-GlcNac:Dolichol Phosphate GlcNac-1-Phosphate
Transferase of the Dolichol Cycle” was based on research into protein and lipid biochemistry.
Dr. Welsh teaches courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, Experimental
Biology and Molecular Biology.

research project includes the standardization of phospholipid analysis via mass spectroscopy.
In addition he is working with Dr. Nathan Netzer to investigate the possible effect
(and prevention) of silver nanoparticle toxic ion contamination on the environment.
Several sources have hinted at possible contamination, however little evidence proves
it to be true.
