Psi气 是一个面向本科生和研究生的国际荣誉社团。 The purpose of the organization is “to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology.” The Psi气 chapter at Peru was installed in April of 2017. Whether you are a psychology major, psychology minor or just interested in psychology, please consider joining the psychology club. The purpose of the club is stimulate interest in psychology and promote and engage the community in the field of psychology.

学生关注的焦点
Aubrey Debraal是心理学专业的大四学生。 Aubrey serves as president of the
心理学俱乐部 and is a recent inductee in an international honor society for psychology
majors, Psi气, at Peru. Additionally, Aubrey has been involved in a volunteer service
club and is in the concert band and mixed choir.
奥布里来自内布拉斯加州的一个小镇亨德森。 She lives there with "my mom,
my stepdad, and my three younger brothers" and lives right across the street from
her maternal grandparents. Coming from a high school with a graduating class of 18,
Aubrey appreciated the small class sizes at Peru. Aubrey likes to embroider and has
excelled at sewing since she can remember. She participated in 4-H as a kid and always
received purple ribbons on sewing projects. Band and choir are also strictly for
fun as she is not a music major.
One of the things Aubrey has appreciated most about the psychology program is the
professors’ willingness to help any student if there is not an understanding of the
material and the faculty members' overall dedication to student success. Aubrey is
considering a career as a school counselor but is also contemplating studying neuroscience
as she is fascinated by biological psychology.
