The third bobcat statue on your tour is a 1½-life-sized bobcat located outside the
Al Wheeler Activity Center. The statue was commissioned by the Nebraska 1% for Art
program. The sculptor, Rosetta, writes, “Based on a photo, the pose was perfect to
represent the Bobcat mascot on campus. It projects the strong though non-threatening
characteristics of concentration, flexibility, strength, grace, dignity and beauty.”
