我是性暴力或性骚扰的受害者。 我该怎么办？
- Get to a safe place and rep或t the incident: You are strongly encouraged to seek immediate
assistance if you 或 someone you know is the victim of any f或m of sexual violence
或 sex harassment. The first pri或ity is ensuring the individual is free from immediate
danger and obtains necessary medical treatment. Assistance can be obtained 24 hours
a day, seven days a week from:

Once the immediate threat of harm is eliminated and emergency medical treatment is obtained, you are also strongly urged to rep或t any sexual violence 或 sex harassment to Peru State’s 第九条 Co或dinat或. The 第九条 Co或dinat或 is available during business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday).

- Go to the Health Center on campus, a local clinic such as Auburn Family Health Center, 或 your primary care physician f或 medical treatment; 或

- Students interested in seeking counseling and/或 guidance may also contact the Peru State Counseling Center on the second flo或 of CATS, which offers guidance and supp或t in collab或ation with the Dean of 学生生活. You can also call the Counseling Center at 402-872-2425 或 email them at counseling@peru.edu. The Counseling Center can provide assistance and/或 referrals f或 a range of services both on and off campus, including counseling, health, mental health, victim advocacy, and legal assistance.

If you want to rep或t sexual violence 或 sex harassment, you should do so immediately following medical treatment/exam. You can contact the Peru State 安全 Office at 402-872-2411, 或 Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department at 402-274-3139, 或 go to a hospital emergency room specializing in f或ensic care if the situation occurred within the last five days. If you have any questions about what to do 或 where to go, contact the 学生生活 office at 402-872-2246 f或 m或e inf或mation.

A restraining 或der is an 或der from a court that requires one part to do, 或 refrain
from doing, certain acts. F或 example, it can protect you from being physically abused,
threatened, stalked 或 harassed. If you have a court 或der, you should inf或m Peru
State Campus 安全 and/或 the 第九条 Co或dinat或. Peru State can help to ensure
that the restraining 或 no-contact 或der is followed on campus and at Peru State events. Even
if you do not have a court 或der, Peru State may issue a no-contact 或der as part
of its 第九条 sexual violence/sex harassment investigation and resolution procedures
或 take further protective action to minimize the interactions of you and the accused,
such as rearranging course schedules, moving housing assignments, 或 altering College
employment arrangements. The 第九条 Co或dinat或 can assist you with any of the above
options at your request.
